The bags are rectangular, you put into a small pitcher bag and all. Cut one corner and then pour milk as required. If anyone was wondering.

Is it resealable

No... which is why it's in a pitcher.... kinda like a refill for your milk

Bags are cheaper and apparently people weren't recycling the jugs and when they were being recycled people had been sending them to the recycling after storing chemicals or motor oil etc in them. In my province you have to pay refundable deposit on them.

It's simply cheaper and easier to recycle. (By throwing the milk\water into a old holder)

This one time, I was bringing some in from the car into the house and it turns out one of the bags had a hole in it, so I basically dragged a trail of milk into the house ._.

I'm american. We were give milk in bags instead of cartons in my elementary school in SoCal. I've never seen bagged milk again after leaving that school. Kinda weird. Has nobody else really never seen this?

We do not have bags of milk or water in Australia. This is the first I've ever heard of it :/ Doesn't it spill when you cut the bag?

No, you just use it as a refill or you put it in a jug

They were a pain to handle in elementary school because we were just given a bag and a straw. We had to just make sure it didn't spill.

Oh my God America please. It just requires a jug for Pete's sake. Also, it's like R5.00 cheaper to buy a sachet of milk than a bottle. Relax

I'm happy to say that I am a European girl with South American parents and in Colombia they have bagged drinks and I have had milk and water in a bag. I don't know if it's the bag or the animal, but bagged milk tastes better than milk in a bottle.

Here in Canada, we have those large bags and they have smaller rectangular bags inside them. You put the small bag in the pitcher.

I'm American & I have this, I actually prefer bagged milk. IDK if its just that I live in Minnesota but you can go anywhere & get bagged milk & water :)

I remember visiting Canada for the first time, and the sheer confusion I felt when I first saw one of these.

we have this in the UK. You have a re-usable jug that you but the bag in, the the spout pierces the bag and you pour :D

When I was in elementary school they had small bags with milk that you put a straw in and couldn't put it down or it would go everywhere. It was so freaking stupid.
