Here in America it is. They monitor everything we say and do. They are still trying to take away personal defense fire-arms because they "kill people" when it is against the constitution. America's government is a joke
Smartphones are actually wonderful. It's a source of knowledge, you can have the answer to any question anywhere at anytime. Isn't that freedom to be able to be aware of everything?
I believe this is just someone who wants to complain about his life but doesn't really have a point to complain about so he goes into this "we are not free" B.S. when compared to a lot of places we are very fortunate
Smartphones/phones gives us the chance to comunicate with those who aren't face to face with us. That's their whole concept.
Plus, it allows to comunicate with people from other countries.

@ specialagentjesus - There's no need to be rude, I was just trying to point out that not all people have smart phones. I personally made a choice not to have one, because I'm saving up for something else and I don't need one.
@ taeminnieah - Nobody was acting like they were evil. I do agree with you about being able to communicate around the world, that's great. For me, I just do it when I have wifi.
