Seriously YouTube, WTF is up with your buffering?

No. Lately, the thing will pause buffering when you pause the video, preventing pause buffering. When you try to "rewind" to an earlier point, a point that should be already buffered, the damn thing starts buffering again, reloading it from scratch.

I think it started about the time G+ took over.

Try reinstalling flash player, cause its been glitching on me too and i fixed it. But thats never happened to me, what u said i mean.

Fix this in 60 seconds if you use Chrome:
1) Install extension: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/smartvideo-for-youtube/lnkdbjbjpnpjeciipoaflmpcddinpjjp?hl=en
2) Go to its settings and check "Ensure that videos are buffered even if they are paused" for both videos on YouTube itself and embedded videos (like this: http://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/8521871/hosted/funsubstance/youtube.png )
Problem solved! Just leave it paused and it will buffer the whole thing every time.
