I'm pretty sure here it's illegal or it's a bylaw that cyclists aren't suppose to ride on the sidewalks so we have to ride on the road, but when I ride I at least always stick to the outside of the lane.
Most places it is illegal for cyclists to ride on the path with wheel diameter over a varying size...
And on roads in places that this applies, bikes are legally a vehicle, and failure to treat them as one is a felony, and same goes for them. If they disobey the road laws they can be fined just as harshly as cars
I don't see a huge problem with this... but he better be able to keep up with the flow of traffic. If not, the cops are going to "pull" him over and issue a citation for impeding the flow of traffic.
But I was driving the other day and this guy was almost going as fast as us.
