It's perfectly alright for anyone to express themselves and that includes men wearing makeup. Expression of self should only be limited when other people are harmed.
That's why most women don't really care about a pretty face as much as guys do. From my experience, it's confidence what turns a lot of us on, and a healthy body, not a doll-like face.
Oh yes. Guys DO have it hard. I mean it's much worse to be ugly and not be able to fix it than not being able to vote or have fair pay or rights or not being able to attend school I'm some parts of the world.
Society didn't. Before America was colonized and Britain was the biggest empire around only the aristocrats were able to purchase 'makeup'. It was a luxury for them. When it became more readily available it was still considered a high up privilege up until I believe the late 1800's and it still wasn't a big thing for all women until the 80's. In my opinion you should wear and do as you please and don't let others tell you otherwise.
