Same with the HP series. In general, you just gotta know what you're looking for to find the good ones.

The HP series was pretty bad at staying true to the books. Although I still love the movies just as much as the books.

For the production value and length of each film... They actually did pretty well, granted they cut stuff out and what not, but overall they stay very true

Unpopular opinion but I'd rather watch the movies so I never read the book. I don't want the movies to be ruined by me being angry that they didn't include something

To each their own. Sometimes I like to read the books after I watch the movie so that I get surprised with things that the movie left out.
