Sollution: CCleaner
It deletes all the unnecessary and temporary files on your PC and you can also clean your registry. I once cleared up 20 GB of space on one of my friends' computer. I know it's not much but it's stil better that nothing !!

If you have fraps, delete all the movies; THEY TAKE UP A SHIT TON OF SPACE! I once deleted 129 GB worth of video from fraps.

Meh, I just keep the save files and delete the rest.
Then I can always download them again.

If it's really that important... get a Drobo.

OR, Steam cloud save. DL and reinstall the games again at a later date
