I've been in that position before. I finally got tired of my boss running his mouth and quit. Ironically enough the place closed a few months later because nobody else ever did what I did and the place got their food service license pulled.

I worked in a restaurant on nightshift (it was a 24/7 type place) they got shut down because nobody but me would clean the stove hood and grease traps, but I was 'always slacking off' according to my former boss yet I was always first to show up when somebody called off even working a couple of 16 hour days! I loved working there and was well liked by everybody BUT the boss, I made him look stupid on so many occasions because after working there three years before his fat a$$ waddled through the door I knew everything about the place.
