This is realy not fair. She has been struggling with her weight since she was a little child and has never stopped worrying about it ever since. Actually she is a realy good politician!
Yes because a cold, which doesn't reflect how you act and can't be avoided, is equal to obesity, which can be avoided if you eat healthy and excerise regularly and reflects your way of life. Yep pretty much the same thing. *sarcasm*
Honey, I can see you know basically nothing about etimology of obesity and obesity in general so may I offer a piece of advice: educate yourself. Then talk.
As for colds, they can be avoided by your own actions and way of life. Tune up the immune system, avoid people who show symptoms of cold, chances are you'll never ever get one.
Finally, let me pose a question. If she had cancer, would you be mocking it too? Would you go nosing around, investigating if she ever passively inhaled cigarette smoke or if she went for a swim in a nuclear reactor so you could rightfully blame her for getting cancer and then enjoy in mockery?
Why the fuck does noone seem to understand that it doesn't matter if she's obese or has cancer or a cold or whatever?! If she does her job right, that's all that matters. Let her be, go laugh at yourlsef for a change.
So what you're telling me is that a person that is clearly not healthy, should be in charge for the health of everyone else in their country. It's like saying, and this is just an example, that a man that doesn't care for his appearance, unsanitary, and is never clean, should be the head of the beauty department. Sure this person can somehow help, but would you pick this person over someone that is clean, sanitary, and cares for their appearance? Who do you think is better for the job.
Oh gosh, do you really believe everybody who works at the beauty department is clean, beautiful and waxed all over? Intellect and ability are not determined by the person's physical condition or the way they take care of their bikini region. Nor is their will or effort, for that matter.
Don't judge people's ability to do good work by their clothes, diseases or the amount of baths they take per week, that's just shallow.
I'm glad you used that example. Makes it easier to show you how biased you are.
Me and my colelagues are about to become doctors. We are killing ourselves every day by studying for hours, eating unhealthy, stressing too much and not excercising enough. A certain amout of us will develop at least an ulcer, some stage of obesity, slight intolerance to insulin due to constantly allevated cortisol levels, cardiovascular disease or something chronic and dormant like that. Does these conditions make us crap doctors? You'd rather have a perfectly healthy doctor who got through medschool because his doctor mummy or daddy pulled some strings? He's well-rested and relaxed because he wasn't making much effort to study and learn. Sure, he's perky but his knowledge sucks. Better hope some of his health rubbs off onto you because it's not likey his knowledge will get you better.
Does this make sense to you?
But you see Doctors to society are pictures of health, society sees doctors as people that are always healthy and use doctors as an example to base what they do. Being an unhealthy doctor isn't just giving a bad example to your patients but also other doctors in training. A regular person might have a doctor that is obese and think it's fine because "he's a doctor he know what's he's doing" which gives an unhealthy mentality to your patient which is the opposite of a doctors job. This also applies to lady in the picture, people will think that "she is the minister of health she's gotta be healthy so what she's doing is fine." Mentality which again gives a bad example.
Yes, I agree with your latest comment, it really does give a bad example if a doctor seems to be unconcerned about their health.
Still, it doesn't mean these people can't perform exellently and do a better job than someone who is a picture of health.
