See I always make sure I'm in the right lane, and then I dont have to change lanes. Although if I'm driving somewhere new and get confused I normally follow whatever road I'm on then find my way back..I hate to inconvenience other drivers..
You're only supposed to be in the outer lane if you're exiting in the first exit.. If you're always in the outer lane, you are incoveniencing other drivers.
Roundabouts are very convenient, and are really not that difficult. They create better flow in traffic as supposed to having to drive, stop at red light, drive 100 meters, stop at red light again, drive another 100 meters before stopping AGAIN!
I went to St. Louis during the summer. We had a crazy roundabout trying to get down to an office. Seriously, it was like noon, people were on lunch breaks, and the roundabout was not large enough.
If you're taking the first or second exit, ie. turning left or going straight on, use the outside lane.
If you're taking the third or fourth exit, ie. turning right or doing a U-turn, use the inside lane.
Unless, of course, the road markings say different.
I love how convenient they are.
