I thought he said he was 100% okay with them. Didn't he say that we pay too much attention to what we can't fix or something like that? We pay too much attention to these minor things when we have much bigger problems like mass hunger and homelessness?

Catholics baptize at/near birth... a person's sexual identity obviously doesn't manifest untill much later. It stands to reason that gay Catholics were baptized well before their awakening.

I would also like to point out that under the Catholic religion it isn't being gay that is a sin, but having gay sex is a sin.
