It's not funny at all.
Her shirt is referring to the last words of Eric Gardner, a black man who was killed in New York by police when he was doing nothing wrong.
Just unbutton the pants is completely disrespectful and insensitive.
Not trying to be rude-but the reference isn't weak. Just search Ferguson and you will see that it is a nationwide issue and there are even global news articles on it. And by searching 'I can't breathe' you will see that it's not a lighthearted tee shirt.
It's not weak at all when there is floods of photos from supporters around the entire world sporting that quote. Supporting or not, I don't see how anyone hadn't heard about this quote.

It might be big in the U.S.A., but it hasn't made such an impact around the world. Sure, we know the event et cetera, but it's just not that big of a deal in other countries.
I know I didn't hear of it until now either. Specialagent where are you from?
And the thing that hasn't been heard is the quote you're talking about here

I'm in the United Kingdom - the incident has been reported, but the facts rather than opinions (and rather loaded, opinionated 'quotes').
Not to sound argumentative, but I'm asking honestly because you aren't from the states.. Do you think that you may be mixing events because in this case, there is a full and clear video of what happened, leaving very little room for opinions..

I'm not mixing events, no - and of course there will be mixed opinions, regardless if there is a crystal clear video or not.
True enough. I took a moment to figure that your side of the world wouldn't benefit from being team biased unlike the news here, where being argumentative means money and rating on huge scales. Fair enough.
This has been news for weeks. A guy was being arrested for the 32nd time, this time for selling tax free cigarettes in NYC, after the officers tackled the 400+ pound man (181+ kilos) he stated that he could not breathe. (They did not shoot him, they executed a textbook seatbelt takedown.) The officers, believing it was a ploy to have the restraints loosened to facilitate an escape, ignored him until he went into cardiac arrest and they contacted paramedics. Because the lead officer on the scene was white and the suspect was black this has caused a shitstorm of protests across NYS and the country. Though I think that this was not the "racially motivated killing" that reverend Al is making it out to be it demonstrates that no matter what happens the police will be second guessed after the fact.
I am on the side of the cops but they shouldn't have put him in a choke hold. They did m of kill him from it he had so many diseases that thoughs had killed him. But the main cop could have told him to let him go.
This may be weird, but she doesn't look bad at all. She's actually wearing clothes that fit correctly, unlike other woman. So I see nothing with this. ((And this is coming from a girl.))
