Ehh... I like both shows for different reasons.
They took everything that was funny in TT and made TTG.
BUT I do miss the seriousness of the original. Wish they'd make some more
Well I haven't yet replaced the tv (or most anything else) that was the victim of a lightning strike yet and even if I did I really don't watch much tv anyway. Maybe after I start scaling back on my farm some here in the spring.
I had a few pigs a few years back, dang hard to keep penned in, not easy like dumb cows, but nobody seems to want to raise them yet they all want the products.
I've never had any trouble keeping mine in even when a section of fence was down for two days all were accounted for at milk times, but one pig gets out and all hell breaks loose.
Holstein mainly and a couple Angus for my personal food use, you save a lot of money on food by not buying from the store, plus I know their diet and what if any medicine they've had so I'm a little more trusting of the quality of the meat. The pigs were landrace.
Oh there is no doubt that you can save money! The price for beef is getting ridiculous and where I live pork is going up aswell. I don't think there is anything better that pasture raised, homegrown if you will, Beef and Pork. Btw I have mainly Yorkshires and a few Hampshires. But I've been thinking about getting a couple red wattles.
You can't go wrong with any of those, though of almost any animal (besides bear) pigs scare me the most people underestimate how much damage they can do if riled up I know one gave me a nasty gash and bruise on my arm where it latched onto me while I was trying to give it an antibiotic shot. I'll stare down a charging bull, but I'm getting the heck out of a pigs way!
Haha! Oh man they can do so much damage it almost isn't funny! They are fast too for being such fat little creatures. I once had a sow who after she have birth was standing there while her piglets where reaching up trying to get some food and I guess she got annoyed because she suddenly just took her nose and threw one of the piglets OVER the 5 foot fence we had! Luckily I was standing on the other side and I caught it but it was like Jeez girl!!
the ones on the right kinda describe how i saw them when i was kid, people are simplifying one version and expanding what theyre nostalgic for, stacking the odds...
You can't really compare the two shows because they are made for two different reasons. TT was more story and TTG is just comedy. I really like both the shows and TTG has great qualities to it that not everyone can appreciate but it shouldn't be put down for not being TT .It's just a gag show for TT's fans or anyone else who might like the comedy
When I first saw the commercials for TTG, I was repulsed, but looking through the comments, I now realize that TTG is meant more for comedy. However, I will always love TT for the memorable characters and depth. I remember Robin's leadership and black-and-white nature, Raven's dark humor and need for solitude, Starfire's friendliness and hilarious attempts to understand Earthlings, Beast Boy's carefree attitude and loyalty, and Cyborg's badassery and struggle with being half human/half robot. Nothing about the show was cliche and it conveyed the dark sides of people (Robin's obsession with Slade was so well-done) that most kids' shows refuse to touch. I just wish they made more than 65 episodes.
Starfire was the only one that barely changed, sucks that they definitely won't bring back the old one. Not only did TTG mock the audience in multiple episodes, they even mocked the old TT, albeit much less than themselves... :(

That is if you like comic book shows.
