Yeah they hit him with a snow mobile while running it through my front yard when they know I hate it and them, currently I'm suing the asshole for $7000+ in vet bills and pressing criminal charges for trespassing and animal cruelty. I had the whole incident recorded on security cameras.
How did they manage to hit your dog with a snowmobile? Snowmobiles are hard to make quick left to right moves, making it very hard ti hit a moving object. Why is your dog romping around in the snow? How is that not animal cruelty? Why do you hate snowmobiles passing through your yard? My area, there are a shit load of snowmobilers and no one gives a hoot about them going through yards in town. The more I think about the story, the more I want to see that security video.
Firstly he was 9 years old and a big dog plus he was taking a dump so he couldn't exactly move fast, snow mobiles are noisy and scare my cows if they happen to be outside and I frankly hate the person who was driving the machine, as for the animal cruelty he hit my dog and kept going he didn't stop or come back which is really no different than beating the animal or any other abuses. Lastly the video is way too graphic to upload so even if I still had it (its in with the court docs) I couldn't upload it.
And yes I don't like people on my property, at least not without my permission and even if they have permission, they are not permitted f&ck around and hurt my animals
In the Fall, run some chicken wire along your property line suspended from metal bar supports *pointing outwards*. This will f*ck up any snowmobile immediately and permanently. Problem solved.
If it were feasible to line my whole property I would but 200 acres is a lot of fence. Although the boundary between my property and his is getting a nice deep 'drainage' ditch put in after the winter is over.
How do you know he was drunk if he didn't stop? How did you even catch him? Snowmobiles aren't exactly like cars, they don't have visible license plates to distinguish them. And with a yard that big, it could have been a complete accident even to trespass. And don't put any hazards out for those snowmobilers
I live in a very sparsely populated area and he's my nearest neighbor besides a 60+ year old widow, he lost his drivers license in December of last year for rear ending a cop car while drunk and I've never seen the fool sober once in 9 years and he wasn't wearing a helmet. And he knows where my property starts because you have to cross a paved road to get on mine from his, nothing is 'accidental' concerning this idiot besides maybe his birth.
Shouldn't he be in jail then? DUIs are crazy strict and I'm guessing because he has been perpetually drunk for 9 years, that wasn't his first DUI. How us he not in jail already?
Don't ask me I know he was gone for a couple days after that because his house was dark so I assume he spent a couple days locked up. I know by the looks of his backyard he's wrecked enough cars he should be jailed.
Just chicken-wire the more "vulnerable" parts of your "border".
And put up that sign that says "trespassers will be shot" or something vaguely menacing of that nature all along the rest of the border.
Funny thing about America's *great* justice system, it works about as well as a car without an engine, wheels, gas tank and bolts! I'll come up with some solution in the spring, right now just getting my regular farm work done is an exercise in dealing with 400 tons of white crap!
Oh...you're snowed in? Adopt me for a few weeks?
I'd suggest buying a snowmobile yourself and laying landmines everywhere but that would mean blowing up your livestock as well...

Sorry about your dog though...
