no life is easiest for the shallow girls. the ones that take everything at face value. that never over think anything. that never expect more than whats right in front of them. I wont lie, I am what people would consider beautiful and men find me attractive but when they find out that I have a brain, a strong opinion, ambition, trust issues (i'll admit it) they turn around and walk. Im sure it must be hurtful to be rejected for what you look like but it hurts just as much to be rejected for who your are on the inside.
I sometimes resent rich people for having an easier life financially, sometimes I resent beautiful people for having an easier love-life. Then I remember how superficial that is. Thank you for reminding me.
Same here. So many people tell me I'm pretty (and I don't mean just my grandparents, a lot of other people as well) but once they find out about my ambitions and future expectations they just walk away. I always thought that intelligence in women is attractive, but from my experience it's definitely not.
...in a societly run by men? I do not think so.
Sure, beautiful, rich people have it easier but they have their own problems, too. In my opinion, life is the easiest for those who are happy with that they have and lucky enough to be blessed with lasting health.
Here's something to think about:
A study done about attractiveness in the workplace, using both men and women came to this conclusion;
When a man was attractive both men and women generally attributed him with skills relating to competence and rated him more capable and more succesfull then his less attractive male peers.
However, when a woman was attractive she was not only attributed FEWER competence skills, both MEN and WOMEN assumed she got the position because of her looks, regardless of her proven skill level, or academic qualifications.
.

Yeah, biases ruin crap for everyone, no one has it easy.
People who have it the easiest:
Beautiful white people who has rich parents and are good at conversational and social skills and studying AND is extremely good at one set skill that makes him or her special who is just a bit taller than the average height, has a pretty, friendly dog, a big house, a big garden, a stable job, is physically fit, good at at least one sports and one instrument, graduated from a good college, repected in his or her job, has two kids of whom one is female and one is male who never get into drugs or alcohol and leads a good life
we dont know, we just look as an outsider, but most of the time, you know, they earn it, they work hard for it. we really cant judge people , everyone has a hard fight ahead of them.
I'm with the guest here. People just think "ugh what a jerk not sharing all that money, never does anything with their time, lazy." when in reality the majority have had to work exceptionally hard at something to succeed in before having this time.
+1 faith in humanity restored
** Beautiful people, not only girls, tend to have it easier, according to studies
