As much as this is true my father works in the trauma department for many years and sometimes he comes home with the most devastating stories and you can see the pain in his eyes. It's not a pretty sight
I swear, many of my friends are studying medicine and they're all terrified of this happening. One of my best friends recently confided in me and said something along the lines of, "I don't know what I'm going to do, they're placing their life in my hands. If I let them down, who's to blame?" I could really appreciate his point of view, as a law student I'd certainly feel guilty if my client (particularly if it's one that I feel is innocent) was sentenced to death because I failed to make a convincing case particularly in acts of war, when you have to negotiate. Whenever there's life involved, things get messy. I have the greatest respect for doctors, without them... well, God forbid that day ever comes.
As a future doctor, I thank you for your respect. Still, it's best not to worry too much and just try to do anything you can. If you do your best, as a lawyer, a doctor or anybody, really, there's nothing your should feel guilty about. Sad yes but not guilty. Bad things happen, there's no changing that. We just have to do our best at preventing them from happenning and understand that it's not our fault if we can't do that every time.
First guest, kindly close your browser and go play in traffic on a foggy day asshole! That doctor and many others like him devote their lives to keeping idiots like you alive and breathing you disrespectful little hemorrhoid, they are also human and subject to all emotions, when they fail to save a patient despite doing their damnedest they feel like horrible failures, show some respect!
First guest. FUCK. YOU.
Doctors dedicate their entire lives to studying medicine, so that they can save YOUR life. They study until the early mornings, work their asses off and sacrifice everything to save everyone but themselves. They are selfless heroes.
Both my parents work in the medical field and the things they've witnessed break their hearts. The stories I've heard would make your nightmares seem trivial so show some respect to those, protecting you.
