Yup, you got it, though the methane from their manure is also of concern. Methane ranks third on the list of greenhouse gasses, right behind Carbon Dioxide at number two.

Found somebody who's never been around cows, there are some days I really want to have a gas mask in the milking parlor mainly because of the burps and farts both of which are HORRIFY thankfully I have fans in the room otherwise I'd probably asphyxiate.
