I'm guessing that the ice was the only thing poisoned, so when she drank it really fast, she didn't give the ice enough time to melt unlike the other girl.
For 2, the ice cubes had poison in them. The girl who drank hers quickly had no time to let the ice cubes melt, so she didn't die. While the girl who drank one very slowly, her ice melted, thus poisoning and killing her.
For 3, The women is a photographer. She took a picture of her husband. Then she took the picture and put in water for 5 minutes.
