It's like substitute marshmallow, I believe.
I had it in the first grade when we made smores, but this girl couldn't eat actual marshmallows, so we used Marshmallow Fluff instead
Fluff is a spreadable marshmallow. It is great for putting a dollop in your hot chocolate, warm it to get it runny to pour onto ice cream and as the professor noted, substitute it for the jelly in a PB&J to make a Fluffernutter.

It could be the store brands of the stateside supermarket that they have partnered with for exporting.
.
It could also be that there's a larger international food distribution company that owns both the US and UK chains and they "have access" to the same family of store brands.
Exactly! When ever there's like Halloween or V-Day at my school, sometimes we're allowed to bring candy and all my friends are willing to trade their Reesee's to me for something else I have.
Coming back again for the comments, I now remember that Publix Supermarkets here in the states had a similar sized Brittish section.
.
The only items that I can recall that they had were Jammie Dodgers and Heinz Beans.
Ok so....I recently learned Publix is just a south thing maybe just Florida not sure....to me that's so bizarre! !! I'm sad for other people! Publix rocks!
well have you ever heard "American" and "healthy" in the same sentence, without the word "not" somewhere in between? As an American I can confirm that what is on this shelf is basically our diets half the time, for me at least.
well, if you think about it, most healthy foods are just straight up fruits and veggies, cuz that's best for you..and you can get that stuff in any country
I'm kind of disgusted that it's all junk food. I'm American and don't really eat any of this ever. I'm not a vegetarian or anything but it's kinda frustrating that this is what other places think we have to offer when it comes to food. Yes we are a mixing pot and all that, but I wish we had a more distinct food item to export than junk food.
Not what I'm saying, I'm saying that I wish we had more to offer, something so uniquely us that won't give off the stereotype of Americans only eating fast food and candy with a gallon of soda.
