I meant like, it's fading in the eyes of the people. Very few nowadays would look at someone painting an amazing picture and just say eh cool, but then think kim kardashian's lifestyle is the most amazing thing in the world. (Not hating, just saying).
"Id"
This piece of art exhibits the true materialism of the human spirit, as it portrays items we use in our daily life. The cheap watch symbolizes the unyielding ravages of time, while the glasses symbolize how humanity struggles to find meaning in life. The way the watch is laid over the glasses is symbolic of the artist's personal struggles, as time mercilessly ticks on.
You have to be aware of the difference between skill and art. Art is an idea. To be able to paint very well is a skill.
I'm not saying piles of clothes should be praised and called art, i'm just saying not every single piece of so called modern art is trash. Some installtaions have a pretty deep idea behind them and are very thought provoking while others, well, others are just trash.

Real talent isn't fading, it's just that bullshit talent is becoming more prevalent.
