Well. I don't own a sword and never plan to mostly because it's a lot cheaper to buy ammo and a small hand gun than it is to buy a fucking sword but that's just my plan. Props to people so can get their hands on a sword though. I applaud them.
He might have lost an ear but the sword barely grazed him so there's no way a bat brushing his jaw would kill him. Plus it takes a lot less force to cause damage with a blade than a bat, it could have been a slow swing.
That's true, even a hit from a dull katana could have split the guys head in two of that was the desired result, blunt force trauma (from a bat) is a whole different type of injury from a cutting weapon.
