Its a solid show but, "they don't know that we know that they know" -princess consuela banana hammock.

That show sucked. All that hype and he still ended up with Robin. And here I thought no show could have a worse ending than LOST.

HIMYM is a cheap knock off of FRIENDS.

HIMYM is funny, that's true, but I don't feel that you get the same bond with the caracters and the story as you do with Friends. They're both good shows, but at least for me and everybody I know that grew up with Friends, it's Friends all the way. I've watched it so manymany times, and it never get's old. I've watched HIMYM 3 times and it's just not the same caliber.

I see your point sophi! I guess I prefer HIMYM cause I grew up with that, whereas friends had ended. Friends had an infinitely better series finale though. It was so sweet!!! But the whole story arc with joey and Rachel, and Charlie and Ross....I lost some interest during that. But I guess HIMYM kinda got like that in its final season. And I actually bonded with the characters on HIMYM a more. Especially Marshall! When his (spoiler) dad dies it hurt! And TED getting his heart broken so many times....and Barney clearing the rose petals off the bed he prepared for him and Robin after she doesn't break up with Kevin, oh it was all so sad! But you still gotta respect friends cause it was a huge sitcom innovator! Without Friends there would be no HIMYM and I respect it for that! :)

I guess it depends a lot on which genereation you're in :)
