As a female, I would love for the U.S. to have a female president... Then I see posts like this and I question why Clinton is even allowed to run for office
As a non American I know very little about american politics, so excuse me if I'm completely wrong but this seems like either a very ignorant quote or a quote taken completely out of context
As stated in the constitution those are the only requirements. That being said someone who isn't part of a political agenda will be very very unlikely to become a President.
The people left behind live with pain of loss. Can't miss anything when you are dead. I know this is harsh and expect down votes. They should have shown homeless veterans or wounded warriors.
This is showing that males are the primary victims of war, because they're actually suffering and dying in wars whereas women aren't even required to sign up for the draft, and there isn't any pressure, during times of war, on them to sign up for some awful war. The creator of this image couldn't have picked a better picture to convey this.
This was part of a long speech. If you're going to quote something, quote it all. Or the main idea. Plus, women who don't have jobs and loose husbands slip into poverty. Teir children are not raised well because of this and they often undergo serious trauma because of the death. The dads cannot feel anymore.
It doesn't make women into bigger victims than the men they lost though and it's sexist and dehumanizing towards men to say such things because they are actually dead whereas the women are still alive. Also, I'm an equalist, so, I believe that men and women are equal and due to this I believe that women should just keep on going as men are expected to.
but why do women suffer more than the men left behind? a man can lose his partner, sibling, parent or child the same as a woman. a man can be left to explain why mommy isn't ever coming home and struggle to support his family alone all while dealing with grief. It's true-the dads can't feel anymore-but the people they left behind can regardless of gender.

When did he say you were mean? What he said was, and I will dumb this down for you, that women do have it bad, but the men do as well. Neither outweighs the other. He believes it was wrong of you to just say that the women are the only ones feeling pain. He did not say you were lesser, but he did say you were offensive to an extent. Though, he had only said to one person (You) that you were offensive, so who are you to tell him that he believes EVERY person is offensive that disagrees? You have also contradicted yourself in your post thrice. You first state you can believe anything you want, then tell him to grow up for believing something. That is two contradictions, as you also said "stop believing that every person who disagrees with you is lesser", though you don't let him believe what he wants, but you can believe whatever, implying that he is lesser. The third is the last sentence in itself, which is simple to see. Was your head working when you posted that?
What does her comment have to do with male privilege? She made a controversial and in my opinion ignorant (or in the very least poorly phrased) comment about war and its victims. She never said the false statement of "Men are privileged to be in combat," nor did she say the very accurate statement, "Woman not serving in the front lines is a relic of sexist views and is placing woman in a well-dressed cage,"; both of the aforementioned statements (one in my opinion rightly and one wrongly) tend to elicit this reaction, but as for the posted quote... I just don't have a clue as to the connection.

If you're only 12, why are you cussing so much. And since you are only 12, your parents have every right to tell you how to live until you are out of their house and paying all of your own bills. And hasn't anyone ever told you not to use all caps?

Referring to guest's post about women being presidents. Haven't any of you ever seen the meme that if women ruled the world their would be no wars. Just a lot of countries not talking to each other. Even though that's a joke, I tend to believe it.
In a less aggressive response- the issue is that it isn't just women. Husbands get left behind too, sons, brothers, fathers- the list goes on. the only difference is that there are more men in the army than women- but that doesn't mean the women left behind suffer more than the men left behind.
What she means is not exactly what you understand when you first read it. It is not that it is a privilege to fight in war and die, of course the thousands of people that die are victims too, but you should understand that when someone dies, they stop existing but the wife the daughter the son the mother and the father also suffer. She did only talk about women, but everyone that is left is the one that suffers, specially if they are dependent on the person that dies.
I personally think Hillary is a big bag of cunt, but imagine the pain of loosing your son to the same thing that stole away the person you love. Then to know the entire situation was only a way for some politician to line their pocets, as a man who has seen families lost to war I'm not saying women have it worse, but they certainly don't have it better.

Women have it a million times better because they aren't required to sign up for the draft and this means that they don't run the risk of getting pulled into some major conflict and probably dying. It hurts to lose someone but it doesn't make them just as much of a victim as the person who actually died and lost everything.
both the men and women left behind have it the same- both can see loved ones die- women go to war to fight as well now. Husbands, wives, sisters, brothers, parents, kids- gender doesn't entitle a person to grieve more than another.
