Doesn't happen to my belt loops, but it does this to my hoodie pockets (and accidentally rips them a little)

Once I got stuck like that but to the door of the train I take and I couldn't unstuck myself so everybody was late because of me

It will happen with the loops on pants, jackets, shirts, backpacks.... EVERYTHING

That happens with my purse that i carry everywhere. Get's stuck on chairs and stuff like that. It's annoying

This has happened to me with one of the strings of my backpack, but I never realize it until I try to move and then I end up looking like one of those cartoon characters who continue running in place before they fall down a cliff.
