Yep, hebrokeabridge is correct. Why would they need to label dead people.?

The red wristband isn't placed on dead people. The red wrist band is placed for the nursess to know that you can fall easily and need help while standing or walking. So this appears to me more like bs than anything else
That doesn't actually seem that creepy. If she seemed normal enough that I didn't notice she was dead until I saw the wristband I'd just be like "Oh. So, how'd that happen?".
As long as she seems like a normal person, I'd just be curious about what happened. Did she just get up off the bed, somehow conscious even though she's dead? Is she still dead, or did she some back to life? I wouldn't just immediately assume demons or necromancy or something.
That's the obvious part. But it's pretty implausible even from the beginning. A good creepypasta should be a bit more realistic to make people believe it enough to creep the fuck out of them.
Good point. But that raises the question, shouldn't there be some uniformity in this identification? I think it'd make things much easier for the patients, the doctors, and the creepypasta writers.
It doesn't really seem to be problem, so I don't think a uniform standard is necessary. I wouldn't be against it though. Although I'm not a doctor, so my opinion is pretty moot anyway.
True, true. I'm not a doctor either, so whatevs.
On a side note, people seem to downvote everything your username's connected to. Not that it bothers me, I just find it curious, considering neither of us said anything offensive (unless "impausible" is offensive now). Funny little sheeple can't handle a proper discussion when an unpopular name is in it, I guess. Reminds me of Orwell's Animal Farm.
At the hospital I worked at we had colored coded bracelets: red=fall risk, purple=DNR, green=allergies, blue=don't use arm for procedures...along with these every patient (dead or alive) has a white wristband with identification like name & DOB on it
