But she may actually be disabled. She could have RA, back problems, knee problems, a pain disorder, I know because both of my parents are disabled. Not visably so and id go batshit if I saw this on our windshield.

Not always, at least in Ohio you can get handicap license plates and not need a tag.

But still, she would have some type of handicapped identification.

Unless she forgot to put it on. It's illegal in many states to drive with it on your rear view mirror because it's difficult to see around. I forget mine from time to time.

There is a story behind this and she actually was entitled to park there, the note-writer was in the wrong here. Some Google should bring it up.

Ok, here you go. Google the content of the note to find it a ton of times: http://www.upi.com/Odd_News/2015/05/08/Note-left-on-car-Fat-and-ugly-doesnt-count-as-disabled/2761431093862/

Hmm, right on. So who owned the parking lot?

Clifton Moore Tesco's in York. She would have used one of the spots near the entrance. Those really piss people off... Apparently having your health just sucks if you are parking fifty feet from a doorway

So she had a placard she just chose not to out it up because it wasnt required in a private lot. The writer did assume nothing was wrong with her because of no placard jad she put it up she wouldnt have the note put on her car so the writer was wrong but trying to do good at the same time

The article says that Tesco didn't own the lot, though.

She very well might be disabled (which led to the over weight) and forgot to put her placard on the card. I can't count how many times I forgot my placard and as soon as I get to the car and realize it, I take it out of the glove box and wave it around. That's why you should never key a car parked in a handicap spot without a placard.

My mother-in-law has a heart thing that entitles her to a handicapped placard. She doesn't appear handicapped, and doesn't walk with a limp or anything...but she struggles to walk very far.

Does she have and use one?
