No offense to fat people (probs gonna take it as offense anyways) but I hate some of them act like they're special and important because of extra pounds. It's not a privilege. It's a health problem and most of the time it's their fault but they act like "they can't help being big boned"
This was taken way out of context, actually. She was talking about the fact that she has become a Zumba dancer to loose weight. Or try to. So its harder for her to dance due to her obesity. She also has what's called Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (POCS). Which messes with hormones very badly which can cause obesity.
.
So, she has a reason she's overweight, and she's trying to fix it. I also think she may be diabetic.
That's good for her, and I'm glad you spoke up. I don't agree with fat people who try to excuse their being overweight for whatever reason if they also make no attempt to correct the problem. I also can't stand people making fun of overweight people actually trying to lose weight.
Not a problem! One of my big sisters has POCS, and I just honestly can't stand people making fun of fat people without knowing their story. There are so many medical issues that cause obesity, but everyone jumps to 'lol lazy food loving cunt'.

Plus not all 'fat' people are unhealthy. You don't have to be right on the dot of your recommended weight to be in good shape. Just like not all skinny people are anorexic. The whole 'fat acceptance' thing is supposed to be for people trying to loose the weight, naturally look that way, or just can't do it due to disabilities. Not for people who stuff themselves. Which, I don't think they should be made fun of for it. Its their life, I mean, it's unhealthy as all fuck, but it doesn't effect you directly. You're not the one who is going to get sick because they are obese.
.
People in general shouldn't be made fun of or put down. In the end, we're all gonna die and turn back to dust.-shrug- probably gonna be down voted for this but meh.
(Ran outta room >_>)

But yeah im probably going to have the down votes rained upon me, but its the truth. We're all people and their choices do not directly cause you problems.
my older sister has a thyroid issue (making it more difficult for her to lose weight) and yet she is a perfect 127 lbs. she doesn't act like her life is any harder than anyone else's. she doesn't make excuses and let herself become overweight. congrats to whoever made this post, you have my respect
I kinda think a lot of people are missing the point about the "fat acceptance" movement. It's got jack all to do with whether being fat is healthy or not, and more to do with the fact that a stranger's health (or lack thereof) is none of your business. Shaming or hating people because of the amount of excess weight they're carrying is no more (or less) acceptable than shaming them for their fashion sense or level of education. Is it a crime? No. Is it helpful, in any way, to any person? No. No fat person is gonna lose weight out of shame. It can give 'em an eating disorder, but (personal experience here) eating disorders don't always lose weight.
I honeslty don't go around "shaming" people for being overweight, however, most of the "fat acceptance" movement is saying "it's okay to be fat as long as I love my body!" NO IT ISN'T. you're wasting taxpayer's dollars on healthcare, you're giving a bad example to children, and heck, there are a lot of overweight people on food stamps, wasting them on Doritos rather than lettuce and saying "it's fat acceptance".
Fat people are the worst. They tell you to quit shaming them while they shame underweight people. They refuse to lose the weight and instead try to make society think they are healthy and beautiful. And all you fat land whales on here tell us how bad we are
Are you aware that there's a movement to stop shaming skinny girls? Are you aware there are people who struggle to lose weight? Are you aware that you're an ass?
If I don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. How people look is no ones business but their owns. It doesn't effect your life so mind your own business.
As a veteran and volunteer firefighter, I can say that the 100 lbs is accurate only for the military. Fire gear, with SCBA tank, weighs about 60 lbs. Now if you're carrying hose up a flight of stairs, still rolled, its well over 100. I know this post is old, but im bored at work so I always type in 99 on the bottom a couple times to see some new shit and make it look like I am working!
Skeletons have rarely been shown to form deficiencies and shrinkage in larger bodies because of excess fat,
