And if the bin Laden mission failed, you'd be the first to blame Obama for it's failure. He may not have pulled the trigger, but he did approve the operation. It would not have happened without his say-so.
Because those are never wrong and they never lie to you
Like, Fox News has LITERALLY said that providing accurate news isn't their responsibility many times
Who the flip said anything about FOX News? MULTIPLE news sources, eyewitness accounts, and general public knowledge tells you that the president authorized the mission to enter Pakistan and kill Osama bin Laden. It came down to his decision. During the raid, if the helicopter that crashed had killed all on board and the other helicopter left empty handed, President Obama would have had to get in front of the cameras and tell us how he and his administration failed and apologized. You can fight it all you want but President Obama will get credit for bin Laden's death in the history books.
Wow! Gas hit 2.50 for a month total and was at $1.78/gal when he took office! NO wars were actually ended, they just started renaming the enimy. He had very little to do with Bin Laden's killing. Unemployment!? It was lower than 8% when he took office. AND during his term they switched the way unemployment is measured to only represent people who are STILL LOOKING FOR WORK ! The actual number is atrocious. This crap is rediculous.
Unemployment should be considered as only people who are looking for a job. There are enormous groups of people (children, retired people, disabled people, stay-at-home parents) who neither want or are currently looking for a job. To provide an accurate analysis of true unemployment rates, the current system is much better than the old one. He approved the orders to find Bin Laden, and as Commander-in-chief probably had more to do with the operation than you realize. While gas prices may not have been affected by him, (or any president for that matter, they're affected by the market and supply and demand) gas prices were above 3 dollars in 2007, the year before he took office. Also, even if you don't agree with me, I believe you should say "This crap is ridiculous", rather than "rediculous".
I paid $1.25 a gallon in late 2001/early 2002. In early 2008, before the market nearly collapsed, it was around the $4 range and fell to $1.50-$1.75 during November-December 2008 (not related to Obama's election). You were probably gouged in Daytona.
Biscuit, well you pointed out a typo so i guess your post is the correct one. But im glad to see that youre focused on the topic and less concerned with "winning" a conflict. As long as you feel good though...
Guest- give in to the grammar side. (Said in Darth Vader's voice.) Seriously. All they had to do is pay attention in school to have proper grammar. They should be mocked! hahaha
Gas is a publicly traded commodity and is not necessary linked to inflation. How much is drilled, how refineries are operating, and how volitale oil-producing countries are fairing contribute to the price you pay at the pump.
you guys do realize that the higher prices have to do more with the companies, availability of resources, and things like spills than the have to do with the president. If you look at what has happened to the gas and oil industry since he's been president he's doing a pretty decent job or at least a better one than Trump could ever do
Well in truth I have a little knowledge on him but I know he isn't a politician not does he have any law degree or any thing that could help someone run a country. He has a bachelors degree in economics he doesn't even have a masters! I seriously don't know how Americans can take him seriously
He did not end two wars. U.S forces are sill in Afganistain with no exit plan and the U.S military keeps sending in military advisors in Iraq to help the Iraqi army counter ISIS. Last I recalled they actually ended up sending 2000 combat troops cause the situation is really direin Iraq but no news source has reported on ISIS in a while.
The unemployment rate is much higher. Media outlets and government officials skew the data that is released to show the most beneficial numbers, those models don't reflect discouraged workers among other data elements. For example, the unemployment rate of high school graduates (17-19yo) is a staggering 18-19%. The average, when broken down by age (no education) is still slightly greater than 8% with much lower unemployment rates for college graduates, between 3-5%.
Huh? Media outlets and government officials do not skew the data. It is a reflection of people actively seeking employment during the previous six months. You sound like the folks who were upset that unemployment dropped below 8% before the 2012 election. "Obama personally skewed the numbers!"
You think that information that comes from the white house and assosiated media isnt spun to support their past decisions and future agendas??? Arent you a model non-critical thinking follower.
The BLS is accurate but how it's displayed is misleading when displayed to those untrained in statistical analysis. And furthermore, I was referring to the pick and choose data of the media.

In no way, shape, or form has Obama ended 2 wars. He just pulled us out of it. Afghanistan and Pakistan and iraq are still very torn up places, but he pulled us out maybe when they needed us the most. Not sure how he brought gas prices down, and guess what 8% of about 350 million is? 2.8 million people still looking for a job, and some aren't even looking and taking advantage the government's services!
Don't forget fast & furious where he gave Mexican drug lords enough ammo and guns to wipe out half of Cuernavaca. Or his phenomenal joke of a bailout where about $2,000,000,000,000 instantaneously disappeared into the pockets of a couple hundred corporate overlords.oh and now we have a healthcare labyrynth so expensive and so draconian that the country will be taxed to implosion within twenty years. Not that I liked Bush much better, honestly. Basically Chris Rock likes Obama because money giveaway. Who cares if we become tax slaves trying to live out the best years of our lives either in debtor's prison, or working 70 hours a week? Welcome to communism. If you poor folks think you or your kids are going to see a dime of this monumental tax money, then you can just as easily imagine that desert wind and ditchwater are a turkey dinner and cold Guinness draught.
If you mock the geniuses that bestowed us with these freedoms, then you stand against everything they paid for in a sea of their own blood. Go crawl back to your Starbucks, snarkmeister.
Why does this generation see those living in the past as ignorant, shit-eating slavers? We owe them everything we are today, every philosophy and enlightenment came from greater minds raised in a greener earth. Today, we are the ignorant leftovers dependent on a slam-dunk answer to every argument. We have lost everything to the empty soul of socialization.
No really how does your snide answer somehow disarm my concerns? Maybe you're just too used to fighting the unborn. They give up quicker than the rest of us.
You're still playing the esoteric-enlightened-liberal-who-obviously-needs-to-explain-nothing card. I'm waiting for coherent thought to replace your sneer.
Heaven help us! President Obama brings affordable healthcare to those who couldn't afford it before 2013 and it's considered the worst travesty in human history. Republicans were for affordable healthcare and only opposed it once President Obama says "Great idea, folks!". The Obama administration brings down the Federal Deficit from $1.3 trillion in fiscal year 2010 to $483 billion in fiscal year 2014 and that somehow translates to "Obama is sinking us further in debt!". I'm not happy with President Obama engaging with ISIS with US military resources without Congressional approval but I'm more upset with Congress sitting on their hands doing nothing about it. "Obama has too much power!", they cry, but do little to stop him. Is Obama the greatest? No, hardly. Is he the worst? Not by a long shot. What he has been able to do is reverse the course we were heading in 2008-09 and whoever inherits the presidency in January, '17, will be better off than when Obama was first sworn in.
Now didn't that feel better than insults? I know I'd rather shake your hand at this point with a smile and a deep breath. Thank you. I don't agree with you remotely, but thank you for your lucidity. Made my night.
Rebel groups have existed in the Middle East for thousands of years. ISIS evolved out of a militant group that was founded in 1999 and officially pledged allegiance to Osama Bin Laden in 2004-as a result of the occupation in the Middle East. Obama Presidency 2009-20??
President Bush gets some of the credit in ending the Iraq War. Remember when the Iraqi journalist threw his shoes at the president? Bush was there to announce an agreement the US and Iraq reached on US forces leaving Iraq in a few years. President Obama helped carry out the arrangement by 2011.
