Christians do force their religion onto people like some other religions like Mormons and Jehovahs witnesses. They stand out in streets preaching and come around your street going door to door. You don't see atheista going door to door preaching the word of Charles Darwin, well there was one guy from Australia went to America and did it and people threatenedto shoot him if he didn't stop it
You can't generalize like that (except for the religions that believe you literally have to try and convert people to be a true member of that religion). Christians believe in evangelization but I won't try to force my beliefs on you if you are set in stone already (I'm Christian)
In fact, you can't FORCE ANY belief on anyone. There's ALWAYS a choice. If a man points a gun to my head and says (in some way) "Renounce Christ and join us", I would be murdered that very moment. The reason why people say "force" is because they think that dying isn't an option, but it is. In an extreme case like being told to renounce ones Christianity, death IS the better option! I can't say that emphatically enough. :)
Telling people that they should believe what you believe or they're going to the worst place you can think of is a form of guilt tripping, therefore it is technically forcing.
Guilt? Well we SHOULD feel guilt, for we all ARE guilty OF SIN! That's the first step to realizing that you need to do something about that guilt, and God has offered us all a way to absolve that guilt! :D
Correct, I can't change your mind, but God tells me to try. :) He tells us to spread the gospel, not to convert, though that is the end goal we want for everyone.
No evenings or nights? I guess you don't want a job that bad then. New hires always get the less desirable shifts, veteran employees do because they've earned it.
Some people have times they cant work though ? If you have kids you'd probably want to work in the day or if you're in school you'd probably want evenenings or nights. It's not about not wanting a job " that bad " but trying to fit it into your life. Maybe some people work other jobs that they do at night. It's a matter of their reasons. Though op said it was because they don't want to work those times, it's their choice.
At least they aren't like my friend who says they don't want to work holidays or weekends so they can " have a life " while also going to school during the day. That's just not wanting a job enough, while wanting to sleep normally is a reasonable.
Smitty does have a point, I understand; the phrase "Beggars can't be choosers" comes to mind. I go to school in the evenings, and have church on Wednesday evenings. The weekend courses were all taken. :/ I need a day-shift, full time, job. Many sites don't allow a filter for that. :(
If we don't choose to believe then you can't change our minds about it
Whatever.
