Theres a show on Knights of Sidonia on Netflix and they have to fight these aliebs (gauna) and theres activists who don't want to fight the gauna and believe that if the people got rid of all their weapons the gauna would leave them alone (just if anyone's interested, it's a good show)

This reminds me of I Am Legend (the written version, not the movie version).

My school did a musical like that two years ago where a boy committed suicide by jumping into a nuclear power plant and then came back as a zombie, and then his school principal wouldn't allow him reentry to school, so the students started protesting. It was pretty awesome :)

That's how it is in the Dead Rising universe.
