He isn't in any pain or discomfort yet, so we're just spoiling him and letting nature take its course

Can I recommend a book for all you dog lovers? It's called "A Dog's Purpose" with a sequel called "A Dog's Journey". It changes how I look at not only dogs, but the whole world.
omg I love elderly pets, they have such chutzpah. Also big praise for people who adopt elderly animals, your total heros.

Today will likely be my Charlie's last day on earth. He is 14 and has barely eaten the past week :'(

Thank you (╯︵╰,) I love my grumpy old man dog. His bestie Sammie had to be put down last year, we figured he would last long without her. They'd been together their whole lives and had a litter of puppies together 10 years ago

Well they will be together again soon, and eventually, you will join them. Don't worry; they're watching over you.

Don't age :(
