It's the chorus, the chorus is allowed, on occasion, to be a mite repetitive. Plus the song is pretty catchy.

Think of lyrics as a poem. Repeating words and sententences is a widely used literary device.

True, in fact the first poet to have a "refrain" at the end of each strophe in his poems was François Villon, if my literature knowledge is correct.
Although I would not compare a Villon ballad to five skanks shouting out "baby I'm worth it" while wearing the thirstiest clothes available.

That is true. My comment was more targeted to repetitive lyrics on a general basis. I would definetly not consider that song a great poem, lol.
