Love the post, one of my absolute favorites, but does EVERY FUCKING THING NEED A FUCKING POTATO? SERIOUSLY. They aren't all that 'cool' or 'quirky' or 'random' anymore. They're fucking annoying honestly. I'm chill with a tiny picture every once in a while in small text, but there is no reason it should be this big. They ruin the mood. And, again, I'm fine with one on, like, the really long posts. Cool. Not a big bothersome. But EVERY FUCKING THING THAT'S OVER A SINGLE PICTURE/FRAME?? No. Just stop. The potato has lost its value and its humor. I realize so many posts here are from other sites, but just crop the photo or something. And it you make the thing yourself, don't slap a potato in every ten words. YOU DO NOT NEED TO COMPENSATE FOR ANYTHING. NOT EVEN LONG POSTS. Did that long ass "do you love the color of the sky?" post ever apologize. No? Then why the fuck we gotta slap potatoes on everything?

I mean, they are cool. Buuuuuuttttt it's just meant for a nice little touch not for compensation.
well, i found it with the potato and the main post obviously gonna make you cry so the stupid potato makes you think im stupid or anything.
better than crying right?
It's not just a little touch, though. It's always "Sorry for the long post, here's a ______ potato!" If it's not there because of the long post, don't make it about the long post. And honestly, the people who get to the bottom and read that probably aren't going to care if it's long, because they actually read the post. Sure, maybe they do, but usually the people who are like "Ugh, another long post, I hate these things," just scroll past and don't see it.
rosalinas - I don't blame you. Like I said, a lot of posts are from other sites and other people, and I totally get that we can't always crop it out or whatever. It just has started to bug me that they're on seemingly every post that's "long."
Exactly! Thank God I'm not the only one who feels like this. Other posts it's easy to look it over but this one dragged the post out into an alleyway, beat the shit out of it, and stole its beauty.
because I like to feel good about myself. Being nice and making other people feel nice about themselves helps me become a better person, and makes them more confident and boosts their self-esteem.
I'm not interested in being a "better person" or helping others feel good about themselves, so I don't really have any reason to be positive.
Also, I like to feel good about myself as well, and usually do.
Depression and sadness are NOT the same thing. Many people suffering from depression don't know what's wrong. Some feel angry for no apparent reason, some feel tired, some feel sick, some simply feel "off". This loneliness, sadness most of you feel isn't depression - it's life, get over it.
If the sadness lasts for 2 weeks or longer, it's considered to be a depression. Any person can be sad and be in need of help, you can't just tell them to get over it, it's not that simple. Even truly sad people put on masks, not only the depressed.
Well I'm sure your parents and siblings will start to feel better about it. Honestly, I don't really know how you feel, I've only lost HUMAN family, because my mom and dad are allergic to cats and dogs. I'm allergic, too, but I get used to it after a while.
