It can still be just as nerve racking, idk maybe I just enjoy my games more. I played the hell out of kh2 and when I picked up the remix, I started it and it was like a whole new game all over again.
if you do it in survivor or grounded you can't use listen mode so unless you remember the exact location, number and movement patterns of your enemies you can still enjoy it.
It's true for any game which is sort of the fun. Except dungeons&dragons RPG games where it's literally just try and funnel enemies through choke points and throw magic at them. It's just how much magic you have to throw and how powerful your magic is.
*spoiler* probably cuz Joel forsakes humanity so that Ellie can live. I think he did the right thing but you still feel like they could have ended all of it if he let them use her for the vaccine.
*spoiler* But The way the fireflies are they probably would have used that vaccine to rise to power. But I'm just glad Joel didn't die, I thought he was going to die
No. Absolutely not. I've only watched playthroughs and every time I think about what if I was playing and what if the game had a branching storyline like Beyond: Two Souls (a great game to watch a playthrough also) and then every now and then I think about killing Ellie and then I'm like NOPE NOPE NOPENOPENOPE
I got real sad when Tess died. The one thing that really confused me was the beginning when you play then Sarah dies, then it just skips 20 years. Why 20 years? Could have done a couple missions like in the begging of fallout 3, a few years per mission
They could have had the tutorial in the interim time, but I think that time gap was necessary because what else could have happened in between that would be significant to the story? How he went through depression and fear and the world ending and (did he?) hook up with Tess a few times and they meet that black lady of the Fireflies whose name I forget. But it would all be unnecessary (but informative) back story.
I loved when Sarah died. It gave us a beautiful sorrow for Joel and when he and ellie get close it made it even more beautiful. I would not change anything about the plot. I can't begin to explain how this game touched me.
And remember...Page was the base for Beyond: Two Souls.
