Maybe just try and remember when you bought them? Or don't buy eggs if you can't eat them in 2 weeks?

Eggs last longer than 2 weeks, that's why.

And some of us don't buy eggs. I have about 2 dozen in the fridge because my chickens pick up the pace in spring.
