I like Bill Burr's idea... just have everyone in the world stop having children for 30 years. With the average rate of death in the world, we can be at a manageable population in no time

How we curb population should be by expanding standard of living and education for everyone. Population growth has decreased in pretty much every developed nation when it comes to birth. We don't need to restrict population through any kind of harsh means we can do it by loving one another.

Why do you think it's over populated? We get that impression when we look at cities, but the rest is practically empty.

Literally everyone on earth could fit in a multi floor complex in Texas, the only ones who would have to live outside of that, with the farmers and such.
The world isn't overpopulated, its just that people, aka us in the US, are using more than we should. The world has enough food for 12 billion and more than enough space. Its just that we spend so much food feeding cows and just throwing it away, or overeating. We don't have an over population problem, we have an overindulgence problem.
Well presumably if the population increased too much there would be too much of a strain on resources and we would experience mass deaths from things like starvation until the population returned to a sustainable level.
People are dying from starvation and poverty, people are dying because of cold blooded massacre and there are people dying because of natural disasters. The problem is within the mind of the one whose world ends at their city's borders.
Yes that is my point we're not overpopulated but we do have mass deaths, the one who thinks that we are overpopulated and people should stop breeding and "start dying" has a limited thinking, they only see the populations of the cities not the earth as a whole.
