To preemptively stop anyone who says they have to market it for kids. The original was marketed towards us when we were kids and we enjoyed it just fine.
Teen Titans Go is actually like a parody to Teen Titans and yes I very much like it and yes I've seen the original (all of it including the movie). Well duh, just cause it's different doesn't mean it's better or worst.
definitely. The show does have its good episodes and moments that are funny. So many people hate how different it is, but it's supposed to be different.
It actually looks like it might be okay, if you can forgive the fact that it looks like a Family Guy cutaway. It seems pretty funny, and the animation is on point.
It looks atrocious. It looks like something Adult Swim would cancel after a week. Like that show that was canceled after like a week. And that other show that was cancelled halfway into its broadcast.
Visually, the show looks bad, and Shaggy's replacement isn't doing him or the show itself any favors.

Wabbit is kinda weird. It's in the middle, for me. They attempt the quality of 50 years ago, but it just comes out too modern for what they're trying to convey.
Watched the first episode, it seems on par with recent Looney Tunes stuff.

Well I mean I saw the "sitcom" version that ended last time, and it actually had comedy that I enjoyed.
It just doesn't fit the spirit of its predecessor.
The arguments I have with my 8 year old Godsister about this (the new one is her FAVORITE show) trying to explain the old one, ESPECIALLY that one episode (from the new one) that flashes back to the old one, keeps me up at night. She saw it and was like "Ew what is this? Why does it look like that?" I started yelling at her and my mom said I needed to calm down cuz she's 8 and I'm 26... But whatever
I like both, each are fun is their own way but I can see why people wouldn't like it.

I was watching one of the episodes and they literally thought they were hot shit by insulting the old series when they:
1. Defeated Slade
2. Said it took three episodes and showed us none of it(I would've fine with them showing it)
3. They then said it solved so many arcs(which OTT didn't do)
They weren't insulting it at all. I honestly don't know how you can't see the humor in that. Go obviously has ties to the older series. The same voice actors should give that away immediately.
They parody it. Literally the people who made the original Teen Titans also made Teen Titans Go. They most definitely know - being the creators of BOTH shows - that they are picking fun at their own show. The creators are literally making fun of themselves.
Actually it's not the same creators. Michael Jelenic & Aaron Horvath are the creators of Go while Sam Register & Glen Murakami were the creators of Teen Titans. Although Sam Register is an executive producer of Go.

It's like peeing on someone's grave though. You can make a sequel, you can make a horrid sequel, but stepping on the biggest antagonists like it was nothing isn't doing your show any good.
I got a kick out of it. It was all in fun so I didn't take it too seriously. No one should have. Considering the show is pretty stupid, and all they do is joke around.

I would've been fine if they fought him even if they were funny about it.
