O wow i did not know that. Although, idk why they call ww1 that. There was nothing great about that war. Now the ww2 was more than great in the sense of what it ended and motivated us to do.
you're totally right, but it isn't fair to conclude that we wouldn't be fighting. I mean, I'd rather not fight, but maybe, 100 years ago, I would've fought.
But you wouldn't be fighting because women and men were SEPARATED. You wouldn't see any real fighting. You would see men come BACK from fighting, but that's it. There was almost no way you would end up in the front lines.
read some books people, Milunka Savić- the true Mulan. Maria Boczkariowa- very important in russian army then. Flora Sandes- the only british woman who was fighting. Ecaterina Teodoroiu- also very brave. Aleksandra Kudaszowa- she was always in the first row at a battle. And finally Maria Błaszczyk- she was 17 when she joined the army and was killed by russians. So even if they weren't allowed, they did fight.

I don't think anyone is saying it didn't happen at all, it just didn't happen with as much frequency as now. Women have been pretending to be men so they could go to war for a while.
If you're paying attention to what's going down right now between Russia, Syria, China, the US, Britain, Ukraine, and many more, you might realize that our governments might be trying to force us to kill each other in the not too distant future...
