Perhaps a better title would be, "The definition of patience"

Damnit, I really want to try candy corn because people've been saying that it's that kind of thing you either love or hate. But we don't have it in Europe.

I think it is actually supposed to be like maple syrup, not honey

You have to get a really really really good brand or make it yourself. Other wise it tastes like slightly flavored wax. Cause thats what it is.

So I looked it up and we are both wrong. According to the internet, candy corn is "considered a "mellow cream," a name for a type of candy made from corn syrup and sugar that has a marshmallow-like flavor."

Thats what its supposed to be but to mass produce a lot of cheap brands will use food grade wax as a filler to save on cost.

Oh I wasn't debating you on the wax, just talking about the flavor.

Yeah. Alton brown from good eats has a recipe for it. It is candy making though so it is a tad difficult.

I checked online and I can order it but it costs like 10 bucks for 250g. I haven't robbed a bank, dammit! And homemade sounds good as well, albeit a bit dificult.
