When I had a bottom locker I would just sit on my knees and quickly get my stuff out. But I had to hurry to get in and out before the tall asshole who had the one above me showed up
In high school, I was given a bottom locker and I'm 5'11", and then I found out a girl who is 5'1" got the locker above mine. She never offered to switch with me. I spent all 4 years of highschool with that bottom locker
Bottom lockers have never existed for me. The closest I got was one school had all the lockers for a grade in a "locker bay" rather than along the hallways, and because of legality or something, I'm not really sure, the sections in the middle had to be half height to be seen over, while everyone on the walls got big lockers.
My 6th and 7th grade years I had a top locker. But in 8th grade I had a bottom locker.
In high school we had full size lockers that we had to share with someone in homeroom. For all 4 years I shared it with a girl that I had been good friends with since elementary school.
At my school we have double lockers, which is basically a locker that is double the height of the one shown in American schools or the post (it's basically a column of lockers merged together), however it's shared by two people. Not a problem unless your locker-mate is a douche. I was lucky enough to get a classmate who's an alright guy.
I've only had the bottom locker once and it was hell. In high school most people with a bottom locker just lug their shot with them or find someone with a top locker who isn't using theirs
and why exactly are lockers in America such a big deal? I'm from Poland and almost in every high school we have lockers, and bottom lockers are used as often as top ones.
We had bottom and top lockers in my middle school for 7th grade. Let me just say I had the top locker, and I am very clumsy, and dropped many books on the guy below me.
I'm kidding, don't kill me
