This has happened to me, for some reason I started thinking I died in my sleep and a week had passed. I was so thankful when I woke up in real life.

It is happening to me a lot lately. Finally, all that practice is paying of. Now I did have a minor sleep paralysis yesterday, but I kept my head cool and managed not to stress.

Me too. I worked on trying to lucid dream for a while, and I finally did it. Every time I begin to lucid dream it's because i'm about to die in my dream when i suddenly realize i can fix it. so like someone was trying to drown me and I was like oh wait lol nah and the other time it stormed and i was tied down and about to get hit by lightning but I realized i was dreaming in time to stop the storm, untie myself, and fly away. Lucid dreaming is fantastic 10/10 recommend

How is that any different than imagining shit?

Because lucid dreams are different than regular ones, and gaming can be related. That's the topic of this post.

I wake up convinced their is something in my bed, sometimes it's rats, sometimes it's snakes. But my bedroom ends up looking like a warzone from freaking out.

This fascinates me because I never remember my dreams. Never! It would have to be particularly funny or disturbing for me to remember, and then it's just a hazy snippet. You're fortunate if you can remember. :(

Yeah.I started gaming when I was 7,and I remember almost all of my dreams since the age of 10.In each,I was able to control my actions. Most of the time I would be in Los Santos,or maybe San Esperito (Just Cause) or best,Kyrat. (Far Cry 4)

All the time.. its kinda annoying because i choose everything but it would be nice to have a random fucked up dream instead of a fucked up dream that i already know the outcome to

While it's awesome to have lucid dreaming it really sucks to have your subconscious fight back. I dreamed I was being attacked by a bear, realized I was dreaming and gave myself some guns. My brain then proceeded to give the bear invisibility powers. How stupid is that? You finally get control of your dream just to have the dream fight back.

i'm beginning to try techniques to lucid dream, all i managed so far is remembering almost all my dreams, now almost every day i have something to write on my dream journal, the bad thing is that usually there are only short fragments.

The dream journal is actually the most surefire way to become a lucid dreamer. My dad, who's a psychiatrist, told me that writing things down, looking at them and reading them out loud at the same time creates an audio, visual and muscle memory. At the same time.

i don't think the journal will help me that much in LD, but its part of the technique, and i'm doing it :)
