The lightsaber with a crossguard is an incredible example of bullshit. It severely limits the lower arm's range of movement because it's really easy to stab yourself with the cross. And it won't help to guard against an opponent's blade sliding down because the opponent's blade would slide down and destroy the emitter instead of contacting the blade itself. And it's non-canonical.

I was waiting to see a white lightsaber and yep Ahsoka even has 2 of em coooool

the new movie probably won't be good because it has built very high expectations
