We should all be thankful that I'm not God, otherwise we'd be seeing these bitchy morons sprouting extra limbs and having their power cut during the most exciting part of their TV show and all other sorts of horriblely annoying things happen.

Who is actually complaining about them? Honest question. I've only seen people complaining about people complaining...
trump did make some statements about them, hinting at evicted all the starbucks that he has tenants as a result, in the same breathe that he said when hes president everyone will have to say merry christmas (whats he gunna do? fine people who wish others happy holidays?) but other than stray comments on news pages most people just think its stupid, i think this is just a case of media whipping up nothing to get people angry and reading
a disturbing number of people clapped too. i watched the video cuz i really hoped that the liberal site* i was reading it on was exaggerating what he had to say.
*this is not intended to be derogatory, all news outlets are prone to bending news to their agenda no matter what the agenda is and often i don't think are even aware that they are doing it.
People can believe in what they want to, whether they be the Christian God, the Hindu gods, a flying monster made of spaghetti, or anything else, provided that they're not complete arseholes about it.
When a religion is created for the sole purpose of mocking existing religions it's not that much of a stretch to discount it. The purpose wasn't to draw real believers in the flying spaghetti monster, but to point out how ridiculous the founder saw religion in general. It's satire.
it started with these two girls who were sharing a christmas drink and they were upset about the lack of christmas symbols. if you google two girls one cup you can learn more on their vid.
I honestly believe its better off to not offend a bunch more people and offend idiotic christians (i do not mean all christians are idiots but there are some who are)
Also, what does Christmas have to do with Christianity? As far as I know, it's a pagan tradition that the Catholic church adopted in order to get more people to convert...
That was a long time ago so it's had hundreds of years to become a very big thing, especially since they made it Jesus's holy day. Also it's one of the few catholic holy days that protestants kept when they split off from Catholicism.
i keep trying to explain to people its a multilevel multicultural day and all the celebrations are more related to nationality than religion when they try to use my celebrating xmas as "proof" i am not atheist...
Yeah, I knew that people say it's the birth of Christ, which it isn't, it was just said that it was as the church at the time wanted to convert the pagans who celebrated the winter solstice to Christianity
Also, the Christmas that people celebrate now with Santa and stuff isn't even what the pagans did, it's an old German tradition, so I don't think the Christians should even be mad about the lack of Christmas decorations

And honestly, the previous "christmas" decorations were just snowflakes and snowmen, how is that even christmasy?
Attention everybody: I'm Christian and literally do not know anybody offended by this. It's just social media bullshit. Please dont spread it around even more
what I don't get is that the reusable cups they sell say JOY on them. why can't all the cups say that? it doesn't relate to a holiday at all, and then everyone would be happy. also, what if they used to say "Happy Hanukkah" but then one year they stopped? people would be pissed about that too.
