Actually there is a sixth circuit case where an older man was pursuing a consentual relationship with a 17 year old boy. According to the state, the relationship was completely legal because the boy was of age of consent. They had a sexual relationship but the older man was charged for taking pictures of him because he was under the age of 18 even though the pictures were consensual as well.

yeah. When you're 16 you can legally consent to sex, but you can't have any naked pics of yourself. Although I'm not sure if that might be a state by state thing.
