We actually probably live in the most peaceful time in recent history. Big media that profits off fear make things seem much worse than they are. Not saying things don't suck, but CNN and Fox make it seem a lot worse on purpose.

They're just saying that news channels take a lot of things and blow them up so they can get a couple days worth of stories out of them to strike fear in us, when in reality some of the things they air are not always what they seem to us watching.
