It won't, but that's because they will be digesting in your stomach that has very strong acid

Before you die, do you really want to be shoving popcorn kernels up your butt? Go big, and use a whole cob instead.

It won't work at all because your stomach is emptied during your autopsy. Your whole body is looked over so if they see popcorn kernels they just examine you longer and maybe ask your relatives why they were there. So do you really want your loved ones asked. "Can you tell me why he had a whole bag worth of pop corn kernals in his stomach? "

That's only if they do autopsy and/or you're an organ donor otherwise they just incinerate you if your wish is to be cremated

Since your average cremation takes place in a furnace that ranges in temperatures between 1400 - 1800 degrees (760 - 982 Celsius) any kernels will just be incinerated along with the body.
