Actually Its just an El NiƱo year. Long story short every 3-6 years the ocean goes through a warm phase. The hot water makes hot air and so we have a weirdly warm winter. So no worries friends, its not the end of the world yet!
Oh you poor thing. Tell you what, we can trade. It was a gorgeous 10 out here to start and will have a high of 18. And just some wind gusts through today ;)
This would be funny if it wasn't so true. The simple fact is that since the industrial revolution we have poured carbon into our atmosphere and systematically used up pretty much all of the planets natural resources and all this in only a few hundred years whereas the planet is millions or probably billions of years old. So even if we stopped using fossil fuels right now and effectively went back to the Stone Age, it's actually too late. Think about it logically. We have done this much damage to the atmosphere in such a short period of time so we have had it. There is no hope. All this tinkering about with carbon reduction and political posturing is going to get us nowhere because it m afraid it's simply too late. (I actually posted this yesterday in the wrong box.....bloody iPhone!)
He's bang on alright. I actually composed this post in order to stir things up a bit! It really is absolutely and totally arrogant of us to say that we have caused that much damage in such a short space of time...ridiculous nonsense isn't it?

George Carlin said it best. Might want to reconsider voicing a lot of nothing.
