I had an uncle who lived in Darwin in the 1980s. When cyclone Tracey hit, his wife was impaled in the back of the leg by a piece of debris like that. When my uncle thought the storm was over, he got up to go to the fridge to get something to drink, but the problem was he was in the eye of the storm. He was hit pretty hard by the fridge, I can't remember how seriously injured he was but it was pretty bad
Wow, it's sad that these things happen. When I was at school in geography studying the Victorian bushfires back in 2009, I remember think how much natural disasters had an effect people
