The posters are talking about different things. OP is talking about people asking for proof of lived experience. The replies are talking about more abstract and theoretical discussions or academic work. Despite what high school teaches, you don't, in fact, need a citation for absolutely everything. Even in post secondary institutions there are assignments that don't need citations. Why? Because they're about your personal, lived experiences.
??? Where did you find that the OP was writing about his or her past experiences?
All I see is some guy using the racism card because he/she didn't do a part of his/her assignment
I've said my piece. You can continue to stubbornly shove your fingers in your ears and sing "sooouuuuurrrcccesss" all you like, insisting that every interaction must be held to the highest academic standards. It's only a fallacy if you're trying to generalize off of one experience.

Guest, when someone says the sun actually burns a pale color, Scientists and the like will gladly provide evidence to their claims. The Narrative of some ideologies are painfully hypocritical and false in many aspects unless they ignore the facts and twist what they can to suit what they are saying. Feminism claiming gamers are sexist, ( a popular opinion amongst them) is no more accurate than Jack Thompson saying video games cause gamers to become violent.
