My sister inlaw has stepkids that are black and they are teens. They would call her honky, white woman, white trash, cracker, all the white names you can think of. When they met me they tried to do the same. So every time they did I would return the name with equal black name. (Never using the worst ones) at first they laugh thought it was all fun. But after a while they stopped and said i was a racist. I told them "I am not a racist. You are the racist. Those words you call white people are racist. (They argued they weren't of course) To identify someone by the color of their skin and not by their given name is being racist." My sister inlaw said she never heard them say white names again.
"To identify someone by the color of their skin and not by their given name is being racist."
That's not racist, it's just kind of uncouth, it's the same as identifying someone by their clothing, or hair style.
No trust me if you heard those kids you would know they were racist. They would even tell my neice you can't play basketball with us because teaching a honky to dunk takes to long. They once told her when she had a knot in her hair to just cut it out. Cracker hair looks like shit anways.
It is racist to call someone by the color of their skin. It is one of the major points that point out if a person is racist. Ask anyone, no one wants to be identified by something they can't control/hide/or can be forced to feel ashamed of for being born that way. I would never call anyone by what they are. (except with these kids it was to prove a point which they learned) You can't go around calling people, white trash, desert rats, rice cookers, redskins, Eucalyptus Nigger, coons, Dingo fuckers, snow chinks, the list goes on and on. ALL are ways to call a person by their skin color not by who they are.
Here is how to identify someone by how they look and not by their color.
He is 6ft 1in tall, skinny yet has a beer gut, balding, white but his skin had a golden tan with a red outline, he has a bristly beard dark gray with white strands, his hair was the same color.
That was my Uncle who past away last year. So did I say he was white trash no, but did I say his name No.
"It is racist to call someone by the color of their skin."
No it isn't.
"It is one of the major points that point out if a person is racist."
So? That doesn't mean that person actually is racist, it just suggests that.
"Ask anyone, no one wants to be identified by something they can't control/hide/or can be forced to feel ashamed ~ are ways to call a person by their skin color not by who they are."
None of that means it's racist, it just means people don't like it. Which is why I said it's rude and uncouth.
"Here is how to identify someone by how they look and not by their color."
"white but his skin had a golden tan with a red outline"
How do these not contradict each other?
Actually I didn't even know that many I actually had to look them up to give an example. I never use them so I went to google lol. I wanted to show there is alot out there. Not just the ones people hear all the time.
I said his skin was white not he was a hoky or any other racial slur that identifies him by color.
How the fuck do you not get this. Are you a moron or what?
I think you are jusr arguing to argue so this is my last comment on this so piss off. I'm done I said my peace.
To identify someone by there skin is not racist. Just like it is not racist to say someone has red hair or black hair. It is however racist to not like someone or be mean to someone because of their skin or hair color or whatever. Technically speaking there is no such thing as race. We identify a race based on something we find different in someone. For instance, you can be of Indian race, or African race but then you could be Caucasian. There are people who call the Astralian a race. Or a Native American. Why is a Navtive American a different race that I if I was born in America. I am natively from America just like them. It's not a matter of race. It's just that we point out difference to be more descriptive. If you're white you say there was a black guy walking down the road the same as if your black and say there's an Asian walking down the road. It's just a matter of people being offended by stuff that shouldn't offend anyone.
Funsubstance has scarily racist comments though. People on here seem as if they don't even realise that so much of what they say and the pictures that they post are racist, as if their views are a-okay. I'm not sure if it's because there are fewer people of colour who use the site, or if they just don't care that what they say isn't okay.

It wasn't meant to criticize your opinion of the actual kids in the story.
